This past weekend at the Gateway Theatre in Richmond, BC, figure athlete Candice Helin and physique athlete Matthew Webb both took first place amidst a pool of worthy candidates at the NPAA BC Classic Bodybuilding Competition. Matt Webb won first in the Open Men's Physique division, gaining him his Pro Card. Candice took first in the Novice Women's Figure category, earning her a crossover spot in the Open division lineup. While Candice didn't double-down and win a Pro Card of her own, she took 2nd Place in the Open division as a first timer against 3 other veterans.
It was a great event and I'm sure they'll be seeing us next year!
