It seems like that’s all anyone ever says after a disappointing set: “I need to do some more grip training”. In reality, this is likely not the solution. At times, we have a tendency to ignore the bitter, unwanted truth staring us in the face: poor technique.
The notion that grip training achieves these things is a fundamental mis-characterization of how the traditional lifts are performed. It is, has always been, and will continue to be a hip dominant effort. The very idea that your success hinges on grip training is actually, quite frankly, the very problem.
