Learning Objectives:
- Increase general understanding of Kettlebell Sport
- Learn the basic rules of Kettlebell Sport
- Learn the competition format
- Learn how to officiate at a Kettlebell Sport event
- Develop an eye for details, critical thinking skills, and a strong sense for ensuring fair play
After completing this course, you will be required to:
- Shadow a certified CKA Level 1 official at one CKA kettlebell sport event
- Judge or co-judge at one CKA kettlebell sport event
- Complete the FREE NCCP Safe Sport module
- Complete a reflection survey documenting your experiences shadowing and judging
Upon certification, you may:
- Officiate at club level events, regional events, and Canadian Nationals
- Act as an announcer, marshal, time keeper, or other technical official at all CKA events
- Explain the basic rules of kettlebell sport to friends and family
- Be eligible for special perks as an event official
