A strong group! Yesterday morning we held our first ever In-House Kettlebell Pentathlon meet, inspired by the Strength & Conditioning test introduced by Valery Fedorenko under the World Kettlebell Club banner. In this event we allowed for 2kg increments, starting from 6kg. The quotients deviated 0.25 every 2kg increment, so 6kg used a quotient of 0.75, and 10kg used 1.25, and so forth. As a service to the fellow kettlebell community, I will share the Google Sheet that I used for training leading up to and including the Pentathlon. This sheet gives bell weight recommendation based on pace (for 1min repeat intervals) and total rep ranges (for 3, 4, and 5 minute multiswitch sets). The "score" column will also automatically cap point calculations at the max RPM for each given exercise. The Results tab will calculate total score and determine level of fitness. ![]() Kudos to everyone who took on the challenge and endured the shoulder heavy training for the past 4 weeks. Looking forward to the next one! We slacked on photos and footage for our in-house, but here is last winter's Iron-Bell Fitness Holiday Pentathlon Challenge More reading on Pentathlon HERE.
